Areas of CMR Oversight:
  • Acquisition consulting including Due Diligence (Property & Casualty and Group Benefits/Retirement)
  • Advice on all contractual issues
  • Pre-close and post-close client awareness of liabilities being assumed, avoided or transferred
  • Assist with forecasting expenses and accruals
  • Focus on issues that will affect purchase price and/or future earnings
  • Work side by side with all advisors (pre and post close)
  • Work with client's existing company brokerage relationships and/or introduce new potential partners
  • Address transactional issues - such as Directors' & Officers' run-off liabilities, reps and warranties, medical, pollution, etc.
  • Assist with negotiations of more favorable post close coverage/benefits and/or pricing
  • Look for post close opportunities for improvement, whether individually or portfolio wide
