How CMR & Associates can help your company offer medical insurance to your employees while saving money in the process.

Small, medium and large companies struggle with the cost of providing employee medical insurance. Let’s face it, we all have a budget to manage regardless of our payroll size and health benefits are a big-ticket item cost. But good employers care about their staff’s health. Is it possible to offer health benefits at an affordable cost?

The Medicaid & CHIP Access Commission has reported that between July of 2013 and July of 2018, there have been 13.6 million new enrollments in states that have expanded Medicaid – a 35.9% increase. But millions of others are still eligible to enroll. This contrasts with a much lower 1.9 million (10.2%) in non-expansion states.

Since then, six new states have adopted expansion: Virginia, Maine, Montana, Utah, Idaho and Nebraska. In total, 36 states plus the District of Columbia have expanded Medicaid representing 72% of the US population. The impact will go far beyond just the enhanced medical benefits and care to lower income workers. Additionally, this expansion will positively impact hospitals and physician groups in these states.

By leveraging expanded Medicaid, organizations can reduce health insurance costs and manage risk, giving their qualifying employees improved high-quality healthcare without co-pays or deductibles.
